The article examines the linguistic methods of keeping audience’s attention on music and entertainment radio station “Europe Plus”. As main technique, author highlights creation tension air. This technique is modeled with help such lexical means as emotional tonal vocabulary (both positive negative coloring), so-called “anxious” semantics, well non-linear construction broadcast: prospection retardation. conclusion made that greatest effect can be achieved through convergence various techniques.
